Lake Creno



After an hour's drive, you arrive at the village of Soccia to begin this superb walk to one of the island's most beautiful lakes.

This is best done in the early hours of the morning (9.00 am at the latest). It takes around 1h15 to reach Creno. A jewel among jewels, surrounded by Laricio pines, you'll appreciate its beauty and tranquility. Shortly after the lake, a river awaits your refreshment.

Departure point: D70 to Vico, then D23 to Soccia. Take the road above the village to the parking lot. The path starts at the parking lot, following the river on the north side of Monte Sant Eliseo.

Lake Nino



For those who prefer a more challenging hike, here's Lac de Nino. 1760m altitude, 2h45 ascent.

We strongly advise you to make this ascent early in the morning: 7:30 a.m. at the latest. It's a strenuous hike, but the final reward is marvellous. Distance from Cargèse: Approx. 1h30 by car.

Departure: The starting point for the hike is next to the Poppaghia forest house. Poppaghia is on the D84, northeast of Evisa and the Col de Vergio.



The Spelunca gorges



Departing from the village of Ota, this shady, flat walk will delight the whole family.

The path along the river leads to the Genoese bridge (approx. 35 minutes).

The youngest and bravest won't hesitate to take a dip.

This beautiful walk is also the perfect opportunity for a pleasant picnic.

Radule waterfall



Another family outing, and a final opportunity to swim and picnic.

1h15 from Cargèse, you'll reach the 'Fer à Cheval' area, for a forest walk that offers some of the region's most beautiful waterfalls, sure to delight young and old alike.

Allow around 45 minutes' walk to reach them.
